Happy Birthday to Daddy!

Hi Everyone ~ Brady & I will be taking turns telling about our very busy last week. We are both doing well, and God has been good to us.

Yesterday, we celebrated my Daddy's birthday. His real birthday was on Saturday, but he was our of town on a golf trip, so we celebrated when he got back. We really missed him, and we are glad that he is home safely.

For his birthday, I got to help make his birthday cake...it was one of his favorites, Funfetti Cake. Here I am ready to start...yes, all smiles!!

Mommy helped me crack the eggs and do some final stirring, but I did have fun mixing the batter...

...so fun...
Yes, this is the only time I can sit on the counter!!
Then, I got to lick the batter and make sure that it was good and ready! Yummy!
Then, with some great concentration, I put the batter in the pan to bake. I only spilled a little!

Look at me...having a great time making Daddy's cake!

One last good lick of the batter. Don't worry, I only had 3 licks...not that much!
Here I am...waiting patiently for it to bake...but I couldn't decorate it until after my nap...so we took a few more pictures before my nap!

After my nap, I got to help put the icing on it and then I decorated the cake with sprinkles just for my Daddy. When he came home, I showed him his cake, and he LOVED it. I am so glad I could make his cake...I was even more more happy to sing to Daddy and then eat it!

A crazy attempt for a family picture! I am eye balling that cake...and I am ready to sing!

After we sang, Daddy blew out his candles. But, after they all went out, a few came back on...Mommy said they were trick candles, but I didn't know what to think...check out my face!

We blew them out again, & when the candles relit again, I squealed & check out what Brady thought of it!! :)
This went on for about 3-5 minutes...it was too much for me. Check out my face as Mommy finally got the candles to go out! That was so fun!
Daddy loved his cake, and he really loved the Panther replica helmet that Brady & I gave him.
Happy Birthday, my Daddy. I love you so very much!

5K Race for the Cure

It's me, Brady, and guess what? I got to go on my first 5K walk this past weekend. (This was Averie's 2nd time going.) It was so much fun! Mommy, Averie, & I went with some of Mommy's friends to downtown Charlotte and we walked a little over 3 miles for the "Race for the Cure." It is to support research for finding a cure for breast cancer. I am so glad that I got to be a part of such a great event.

Here we are...right before the race. It was about 7:45 a.m. (much earlier than we'd like to be awake!) and it was pretty cold to start the day...it was about 50 degrees outside. Thankfully, it warmed up to about 65 degrees by the time the race was over. It was a gorgeous day for this walk. Mommy had us bundled and ready to go!

Here we are with Mommy...almost ready to start!

Here is the group...Ms. Daphne, Mrs. Kasey with Carmen, Mommy, & Mrs. Tonya...ready to walk!

Though it was cold at first, I was happy and ready to go!
Averie was more than excited to go...look at that face! :)
After the race, we took a few more pictures...Mommy & Averie!
Mommy & Me

Mommy & her good friend, Mrs. Tonya. They had fun getting our strollers through the crowds...it was great!

YAH!! What a great time I had!

And, Averie with Gavin (Mrs. Tonya's son)...she loves him too!

Mommy with her babies ~ Averie & me
It sure was a great morning!

A Time for Everything...

Well, it's me, Averie, & guess what I did this weekend? Yep, I went to the potty. But, don't get too excited...that was the only time I did it. I have been going pee-pee for a while now, but I just don't like to do the other thing. But, what I do like to do is what you see pictured below (I am so embarrassed that my Mommy took this picture!)...I love to read a magazine while sitting on the toilet and doing nothing! Isn't that hilarious? Oh, well! Hopefully in the next few months, I'll have some great news that I am completely potty trained. Guess we'll see what happens!

Have a great day!

Weekend with Mommy...

Well, since Daddy was out of town this past weekend on a golf trip, so we got to have Mommy all to ourselves. We had a great time & a very busy weekend. We went to the park with Ella, had dinner at Opa & Oma's house twice (Averie loved playing with Kaitlyn & Stephanie there), went on a 3 mile walk, spent Saturday with Mommy's friend, Miss Joy, & went to church on Sunday. It was a busy, but very fun weekend. But, we missed Daddy and we are happy that he is home safely now.

Here are a few pictures from our weekend!!

A very happy "Brady Boy" as Daddy, Mommy, & Averie like to call me!

Do you like our shirts..."Little Brother" and "Big Sister?" We love to make each other smile!

Enjoying my swing!!

Of course, lots of kisses from my Mommy!
And, ready for the Panthers game!!
What a great victory! I had a fun time with my Mommy!!

Brady is 3 months old!!

Hi Everyone ~ It's me, Brady. Just wanted to tell you that I am 3 months old today (by the time most of you get this, it will have been yesterday!). I am doing great! I have found my hands this week, so they are always at my face...or in my mouth. Daddy & Mommy think that it's too cute. I still love when you talk to me, I love to babble & smile, and I really enjoy my bath time. Averie & I get along really well so far...and she is always trying to help Daddy & Mommy with taking care of me. I am a really happy baby, and Daddy & Mommy tell me all the time that they thank God for me. I am their "precious gift from God."

Enjoy the pictures!!
Loving those hands of mine.
A happy picture of me...doing some "tummy time."
Watch me try to roll over...I only like to get about halfway there, and then I am too exhausted to do the rest! I'll get it soon!
Going a little...
...a little more...
...and, I like to stop here. My Mommy just laughs, so then I start smiling really big...look at me!
A few other pictures of me from this past week...smiling and hands in my mouth!

Have a wonderful weekend...
