Merry Christmas 2011

We enjoyed a fun morning together...an afternoon of resting, opening gifts, & spending more time together...and then headed to Oma's house for Christmas Day dinner with all our families! We had a wonderful time, and we so thankful for family!

christmas morning...

Merry Christmas morning!!

We were so excited to wake up, come downstairs, and find out that Santa had come. We ran into Daddy & Mommy's room saying, "Santa really came...he really came." We also noticed that our stockings had been filled also, but that one stocking looked as if it had coal in it. That worried us a bit...until we found out that the "coal" was really squirt toys for Brecken...whew!! That was a close one!! :) We enjoyed our morning together...eating breakfast, reading the Christmas story, praying together, and exchanging gifts. Such a fun time together...celebrating the birth of Jesus and enjoying time together as a family!

Christmas morning 2011!

Brecken loved his little riding pony from Santa...and we sure loved our leappads! Well, Brecken at first wasn't sure what to think...he just crawled up to it, looked at it, and then looked at us...

...and he liked it...yay!

Daddy put him on the pony, and Brecken enjoyed riding it for a while!

We are ready to open our gifts...sitting by the tree!

But, before we exchanged our gifts to each other...we were enjoying our gifts from Santa!

My (Brady) first gift was a set of pots and pans. Brecken loved them also...and he banged the whisk on the pot for over an hour that morning...and loved it!

I loved opening up gifts again...so much fun!

And, Averie loved it, too!

Oma got to join us Christmas morning, and she loved opening up her Oma frame!

And, Oma helped Brecken open up a few of his gifts...but he was really just interested in the pan and whisk!

Our Family Christmas Morning

Such a fun morning together...we love Christmas!

Christmas with the Karaffa's...

We celebrate Christmas with Poppy, Nana, Uncle Blair, Aunt Blip Blip, McKinly & Easton on Christmas Eve...it's been our tradition for a while, and we love it. So, we all got to wear our jammies, eat dinner together, and then open up our presents. We had such a fun night together.

And, all the festivities wore Easton slap out. He fell right asleep in Mommy's arms...she loved that!

And, after the fun gift exchange, we ended our evening with the traditional viewing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. We had such a fun night...and we are so thankful for family!
