Brady

Here I am...a happy 4 1/2 month old. I am doing great and having fun. Just wanted to share some pictures of just me. Enjoy!

Have a very happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

First Jar Food

Well, I got to try out my first jar food...sweet potatoes. Mommy & Daddy were ready for this over dramatic, but absolutely adorable facial expression with the tongue all out and such...just like Averie did when she was my age. Boy, were they surprised. Mommy put the spoon filled with sweet potatoes right in my mouth, and I just looked right at her and smiled...no crazy tongue, no funny face...just ate it. Some came right back out of my mouth, but no expression followed. So, Mommy tried again...and same thing. I don't love the sweet potatoes, but I didn't mind them either. Maybe with the fruit I'll be more expressive...Enjoy the pictures! :)
All smiles!!
Averie really wanted to try to feed me, so Mommy let her. She did a great job, but she only got to do one spoonful.
Me at my happiest...with a full belly, dry diaper, and someone talking to me.

Thanksgiving Feast

Hi Everyone & a very Happy Thanksgiving to you. We hope you are all doing well. Enjoy the latest pictures!

Daddy, Mommy, & I went to Averie's preschool on Tuesday for her Thanskgiving feast. Her 2 year old class got to sing 2 short songs for us...and then we had a lunch with her. It was so fun. Obviously, Averie is the tallest kid in her class. But, I think the best part was when Averie looked out in the crowd, saw Daddy, starting waving frantically, and said (right before singing) very loudly, "Look, there is my Daddy." Daddy was beaming with pride. It was so cute! And, Averie did a great job...she had fun singing about the turkey!

Family Fun

Here is Daddy with me...I love to play with my Daddy. He makes me smile so big!

Then, this past Sunday after church, Mommy, Averie, & me thought it would be fun to take some pictures...a couple self-portraits and a couple that Averie took with Mommy's camera...what a big girl! Here is Mommy & me! Averie took this picture...that is why part of our heads are cut off :)

Mommy & Averie (& yes, that is Averie holding Mommy's chin and telling her to look at the camera and smile...isn't that hilarious?)

Averie thought it would be funny to wear Mommy's glasses. She said, "Hey, look at me...I look just like Opa." (Opa is her grandfather!)

And, one more fun one of Averie & Mommy. It was fun being silly!

Happy Birthday to our Averie ~ Part 2

On my real birthday (my party was on a different day), my Daddy, Mommy, & Brady woke me up with a "3" candle lit and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I got up so excited. Then, when I went downstairs, the kitchen table was covered with a sheet. Daddy pulled off the sheet, and underneath was this amazing doll house...and a few other presents...and my birthday hat! I wasn't sure what to think at first, but once Daddy & Mommy showed me how to play with my doll house, I haven't been doing much else. I LOVE IT! It has all these furnished rooms with a Daddy, Mommy, big sister, and twin babies to play with.
Daddy & Me on my birthday morning!
Daddy & Mommy also gave me a little pink Bible to take to church. I have been wanting one for a while, and they said when I turned 3, I could start taking one. So, I am excited about bringing this Bible with me to church...just like Daddy & Mommy do!
Daddy & Mommy also gave me this wooden cake set...it's so much fun to put the candles on it, sing "Happy Birthday" and then hand out the cake slices to Daddy, Mommy, & Brady.
And, I got a few books from Daddy & Mommy...I love to read!
My brother, Brady, got me a pink laptop for me to "check email." Yes, I do check my email...that's what I tell people that I'm doing. I've looked at this at the store for a long time, and I asked my Brady to give it to me. I was so excited to get it. What fun this was with my family!
Playing with my doll house some more...I played with this on my birthday for over 2 hours at one time...Mommy had to pry me from it so that I could at least take a little nap!
For my birthday dinner, Daddy, Mommy, Brady, my grandparents, and almost all my uncles, aunts, & cousins celebrated with me at "Big Fire," which is what we call the Japanese restaraunt that we all love to go to. They cook the food right in front of you and always make a big fire during it. Poppy & Nana Karaffa decorated my chair with this butterfly balloon!
About half way through the meal, I kept wanting to go sit with my Opa...so, when I finished my food, I sat on his lap and fed him his food. My Mommy says that it's amazing what grandparents will let their grandkids do!! :)
Then, almost everyone came over to my house after dinner. I had cupcakes and pound cake for everyone. Everyone sang to me, and I loved it, of course!
Mommy thought it would be funny to put some "trick" candles on my cupcake. After I blew them all out, they all started lighting back up...check out my face. I was shocked. I kept blowing them out, and they would keep lighting back up. I finally started laughing at them!
Then, I got to open my presents from my grandparents & my uncles/aunts/cousins...I got too many gifts, but I sure am having fun with them...Here is the coffee maker that I got from Poppy & Nana.
And, they got me a vacuum cleaner...how fun!
I got a McDonald's play set from Uncle Blair, Aunt Blip-Blip, and McKinly...I love to play restaurant with them.
And, Opa & Oma gave me this monogrammed "A" silver bracelet...I am showing it to you! (They also gave me a wooden high chair for my baby doll & 2 dresses for church.) All my VW uncles/aunts/cousins gave me this scooter...now I can be just like my uncles and Opa riding through the greenhouses!
Opa & me...putting together my coffee maker (while checking email...if you can see the laptop on Opa's lap!
I don't know who likes playing more...me or Aunt Blip-Blip? :)
Daddy & Brady watching all the excitement!
A quick family picture...of course, I am too busy to look, but I did smile! :)

Happy Birthday to Averie ~ Part One

Hi Everyone ~ We hope you are all doing well. Here are some pictures of what's been going on with us...we have been busy celebrating my big sister, Averie. She turned 3 years old this past weekend. So, she is very excited to tell you about everything she did. Enjoy!!

For my 3rd Birthday Party, I got to invite my friends to go to Monkey Joe's. It's an indoor play area with all sorts of slides and jumping equipment. We had SO much fun! Here I am going down the slide...
Happy Birthday to me...Can you believe I am already 3 years old? (Or as I like to say it, "Free years old")
Having SO much fun...I am one happy birthday girl!Me with my Daddy & Mommy (My Oma kept Brady so that
Daddy & Mommy could be with me!)
After we played for a while, we got to go upstairs to the party room. There was a blow-up throne for me to sit on (just perfect for this princess!)!! I was thrilled (obviously)!
Daddy & Mommy bought this hat in Disney World before they had me & Brady. They thought it would be fun for us to wear every birthday. It was a little big for me, but I was able to at least get my picture made with it. The candles on top of the hat light up. It's so fun!

My yummy cupcake cake...it looks like a cake, but it really was 30 cupcakes with one "top."

Again on my "throne" with my balloons...this was after I ate my pizza, and it was time for cake & presents!
Make a wish...
Me...the "Birthday Girl"

All ready to eat my yummy cupcake!
A quick picture with my Daddy & Mommy!
My friends spoiled me with some really fun gifts...here I am with a Cinderella telephone from my cousin Stephanie! I LOVE to talk on the phone.

Then, I got a giraffe print purse from my cousin, Jackson! I LOVE purses...it even had some chapstick, hairclips, a make-up brush, and a comb all inside.

Daddy & Me...He even took the day off work so that he could be at my birthday party and spend that time with me. I had the best time with him!
That night, we got to open up some of my other toys and play with them...it was great. Here I am playing with my play-doh ice cream shoppe. Of course, Mommy said that she wasn't sure who was having more fun...Daddy or me? :)
Yummy...a play-doh chocolate ice cream cone just for me! (Thanks, my friend, Lillie, for this!)

I got ALL these lip glosses from Miss Joy...I like to put them all on at the same time. I like all the flavors, and my lips are REALLY glossy! And, I have learned...these are not for boys!

I loved my Cinderella dress...I am all ready for the Ball. Thanks, Aiden, Jake, Gavin, Tucker, and Bayleigh for this...aren't I just beautiful? I can't wait to put this with my tiara and Cinderella shoes!

And, I get to dress "Princess Elise" however I'd like...she has magnetic outfits and tiaras for me to put on her...it's great fun. Doesn't she look great in green? Thanks, Ella! I also got lots of other fun things that aren't pictured...fun books, a cute sweater vest, some board games, a stamp set, a pack-n-play for my baby dolls, and more. I got spoiled by all my friends. But, it sure was a fun party! Thanks to my friends!

Poppy, Nana, GiGi (Great Grandma ~ Daddy's Grandma), Aunt "Blip Blip," & cousin, McKinly, came over for dinner and to see my fun presents. Here is Poppy with Brady...they sat like this for a long time. I don't know who enjoyed it more...Poppy or Brady? :)

And, here is "GiGi" with Brady...GiGi is here visiting for the past 2 weeks. It's been fun seeing her!
