Fountain Fun

Hi Everyone ~ Here I (Brady) am for the first time at the fountains at Birkdale. I finally was able to get in my bathing suit and play in the water. And, as some of you know, I was pretty sick last week, and since I am feeling better, Mommy took Averie & me to the fountains for some fun in the water...and a bagged lunch. Afterwards, we got to enjoyed some gelato as a special treat!

They were so funny...I was just laughing at them!
Then, a big smile for Mommy, of course!

Then, I found this cool "water hole," so I thought I'd put my finger in it...soon realizing that water sprayed out of there!
Then, I used our tupperware lid to put on the water....

This was so fun...

...until I turned my lid the wrong way & sprayed myself completely in the face...

I quickly learned how to turn it the "right" way so I wouldn't get sprayed!

Then, I tried my hand...that was fun!

I was so tired...i crawled over the the bench and just laid my head down on Averie's towel. I exerted a lot of energy!! :)

Then, Averie had some fun with the water...who knew that an empty water bottle and piece of tupperware could be so much fun?

She also had fun running through the fountains...

...and smiling for Mommy!

What a fun way to spend our morning!

Happy Father's Day to our Daddy!

Happy Father's Day to our wonderful Daddy. We are so blessed to have such an amazing Daddy. He is so fun to play with, and he makes us laugh all the time! At night, we just light up when he gets home from work. Then, when he tucks us in bed at night, he always reads a fun book & prays with us. We love you, Daddy, and we are so thankful for you! You are our hero!

For Father's Day, we enjoyed going to church as a family. Our worship service was wonderful that day! Then, we spent the day as a family...with just us...and then that night with Poppy, Nana, Aunt Blip Blip, Uncle Blair, McKinly, and GiGi (our Great Grandma on Daddy's side of the family). We got to see Opa the next day at coffee break! Sure was a fun weekend!

Just "horse-ing" around!

Hi Everyone ~ I (Averie) just wanted to tell you about this really cool birthday party that I went to...celebrating my neighbor's 6th birthday. We had a great time! We went to a local horse farm, and got to do all sorts of fun things with horses. Enjoy the pics!

Here I am...getting to brush a miniature horse...his name was Moon!

Then, I got to ride a horse all by myself. Mommy was going to ride with me, but I told her I really wanted to do it by myself. I think she was happy to not have to get on that horse with me, but sad to think I am always wanting to do things "by myself." Yes, I am growing up! :)

I was really nervous at first...this was my first time riding a horse. (I rode a pony at the Columbia Zoo in Ohio when I was about 18 months old, but Daddy was beside me the whole time!) I told the lady, "Not too fast, please." She just smiled at me!

Do I still look nervous, because I was?

Once we got going, I was so excited. It was so much fun. Here is my confident wave to Mommy once we started walking.

Marbles & Me

After brushing and riding the horses, we got to paint the horses. Yes, we got to put our hands all in the paint, and then rub it all over the horses. This was also SUPER fun. The horses loved it since it felt like it was getting lots of love from us! Here I am...making a handprint on Marbles!

Then, I gave Marbles a rub down of color all over his side!

Dipping my hands in all this paint was so fun too!

Then, we got to paint Moon. He looked so funny with all that color on him...it showed up really well since he is a white horse!

Sure was a fun birthday party! After doing all that, we got to go on a scavenger hunt, swing, and eat cupcakes! I had a great time. Happy Birthday, Jessi!

Fun in the Sun...

Hi Everyone ~ We sure have been enjoying this warm weather...summer is here! I (Brady) just turned 11 months old...yes, only 1 short month away from being 1 year old. Sure has been a really fast year. I took 3 very wobbly steps this past Monday, but haven't really tried since then. No rush...I have plenty of time to catch my big sister. Averie & I LOVE being in the water...thankfully, we have family nearby with fun swimming pools. Enjoy the pics!

For lunch, my Aunt Helen made her yummy lasagna. Obviously, I enjoyed EVERY bite! Yum! Yum!
