my daddy & me

I (Brecken) just love my Daddy. I light up when he talks to me...and I love to hang out with him.

He makes me smile more than anyone else.

I just love watching him...he is my hero!

I am thankful for my Daddy.

When it's been nice outside, we have enjoyed playing in the backyard...

...swinging...

...and doing all the other normal stuff kids do...you know, like taking the motorcycle for a spin down the slide...

...sure was fun!

We love being outside! We are ready for more spring weather!

A few Saturdays ago, Daddy & Mommy took us bowling. It was my (Brady) first time, but Averie has been a few other times before. We were super excited. Mommy forgot her camera, so these were taken with her phone...so excuse the blurriness and such :)

By the end of the game, I was bowling by myself...

...and only lost to Averie by 2 pins! Not too bad for a beginner.

We sure had fun!

twins...well, sort of :)

Here is some I (Brady) love to do...run, jump on the couch, and flip up. It's really fun...you should all try it sometime. I keep asking Mommy to do it, but she keeps saying that it's best for just me to do it :)

I also love to entertain my brother. Well, I really just like to talk to him for just a few minutes. Brecken loves me...I'm sure of it! :)

True story...Mommy bought me these warm jammies a few weeks before Brecken was born. Then, not knowing I had these jammies, our sweet babysitter bought Brecken the exact same sleeper. So, after Mommy put my jammies on, I went to go talk to Brecken, who was already wearing his sleeper. I looked at him sleeper, looked at mine, and then said, "Mommy, we're twins. Me & Brecken have same on." I was super excited! Aren't we just too cute?

Mommy says this is the fun part of having 2 of the same gender...dressing us alike. Not sure I will feel the same way :) But, this is our first "twin" outfit!

meeting friends...

This past weekend, we got to visit with some friends of ours. We have played together several times, but unfortunately, we don't get to see each other that often. But, we sure had fun while the Mommies chatted. (Mommy has known these friends for many years...2 since kindergarten and one since high school.) It was a fun Saturday morning.

Here we are...Charlie (3), Riley (5), me (5), Brecken (7 weeks), Brady (2), & Matthew (3)

And, us with Mommy...very difficult trying to get us all to look at the camera at the same time, so this was the best we could do :)

Step 3...rub gel in your hair

Step 4 ...smile and pose for Mommy

discovery place kids...

While Averie was in TK (transitional kindergarten) one morning, Mommy took me (& Brecken) to Discovery Place Kids. We met up with my Aunt Blip Blip and cousin, McKinly. We had such a great time together! I love this place...and it's only 2 miles from our house...wahoo!
