it's beginning to look a lot like christmas...

We were able to decorate a little earlier this year. Normally, we would wait until Thanksgiving weekend to decorate, but since Uncle Thomas & Aunt Lindsey got married that weekend, we decorated the weekend before. It was so much fun! After we decorated the house with poinsettia's and other Christmas decor, we decorated the tree. Here is the before picture...
And, as tradition since Daddy & Mommy got married, we put on our Santa hats in order to decorate the tree. Here we are with Daddy...

...and with Mommy.

Here is the "after" ~ We are super excited about Christmas. We hope you are getting in the "Christmas spirit" as well...ready to celebrate Jesus' Birth and being with family and friends.

Mommy also enjoyed making gingerbread houses with some good friends this year. It took them about 7 hours to do it, but that also included a lot of talking...a lot of laughing...and a lot of eating!! We loved the house when Mommy brought it home. Brady has been pointing and saying "candy" for a few days at it...finally, the temptation got the best of him and grabbed one of the candy cane trees...but didn't eat it! After Mommy "talked" to him, he hasn't touched it again! We just love looking at it...and it smells good, too!

And, this year, Mommy added poinsettias going up our stairs. It looks so pretty...and we haven't touched them yet! :)
