While "Sissy" was in preschool, Mommy took me (Brady) to Discovery Place with her very good friend, Mrs. Dorothy and her twin girls, Reece & Lucy. We had the best time. And, I got Mommy all to myself! Here I am...getting ready to have some serious fun at this water table!

I love playing with water...filling up watering cans...

And, I enjoyed all the other gadgets.

This was the biggest lego board I have ever played with...

...and it was so much fun!

Just my Mommy and me

They brought out a REALLY big lizard for us to see and pet.

I really enjoyed that, too.

When the "pet instructor" was talking about the lizard, I got very concerned. I am obsessed about whether or not any animals bite, so I asked her. (I just put my finger in my mouth and ask "Bite"?) This is my very concerned face. I was relieved to find out that they don't bite.

So, then I could pet the lizard again.

Then, it was time to head back to the water table for a few more minutes of play before lunch. I walked right over there, obviously very thirsty, so I just leaned over and took a drink...

...and another drink!

My friends came to join me as we quenched our thirst! :) (Yes, Mommy & Mrs. Dorothy did tell us to stop...and yes, they told us there were germs on there!)

So, this was our last "sip."

Well...just one more for me!

I loved this place & playing with my friends...so much fun! Can't wait to come back!

Averie got to take swim lessons for 4 weeks, and she loved it...
She is a great swimmer!

And, here is Averie with her birthday card for her preschool teacher, Mrs. Betty. She wrote out "Happy Birthday" and "Averie" (Mommy did the heart) and she traced it with colored pens. She did great with it!

And, look what Oma makes me do when I go to her house...schoolwork! Just kidding. Oma & I always have fun together. I just pulled this out and started "working."

Spring is a great time of year...on this rather warm morning, Mommy filled up our water table, and we had so much fun.

We filled up and dumped out lots and lots of water.

...or maybe just clean her scooter!

Of course, then it was my turn to fill up a watering can, but I used it to water the mulch :)

I also rode my bike while we were outside. And, since Averie always wears a helmet when she rides her bike, I insist on wearing mine when I ride my bike.

Then, I took my turn splashing in the water, but of course, I had to keep my head protected :)

We also blew bubbles...Averie does a great job with it...

...I think I may use to much force when I blow. :) I also think they should make fruit flavored bubbles...this tasted gross!

So, we moved on to sidewalk chalk. Making marks anywhere on the driveway...now that's my kind of fun!

Averie loves to make letters and draw faces...

...I just make any kind of line...

...with any color I choose!

But, I have a lot of fun doing it!

We sure had a ton of fun in the sun...

happy mother's day

Happy Mother's Day to our Mommy. We loved celebrating her with lots of hugs and kisses. We also gave her some cards, a flower, and some lip gloss...all picked out by me, Averie. I thought Mommy would love sharing the lip gloss with me! :) We had a fun day...church, lunch out, afternoon at Oma's house, pizza for dinner, and family time. We are thankful for our Mommy...and Oma and Nana! Happy Mother's Day!

Brady with Mommy...He was really tired and really hungry, so he wasn't super thrilled with taking his picture. We'll try again another day!

Mommy & Me...I told Mommy that she was "the best Mommy in the whole world." She loved that!

(Mommy celebrated Oma today, and we also celebrated Oma's birthday last week. Mommy tells us that Oma is the strongest woman she knows, and she is so proud to call her "Mom." We sure love calling her "Oma.")

Oma & us...obviously, Brady had eaten since his picture with Mommy. Plus, he just loves his Oma...just like I do!

(Since Great Mamaw is in the hospital in Ohio recovering from 4 heart attacks last weekend, we couldn't celebrate with Nana today. We hope to celebrate with her when she gets back home, and we are thankful she could celebrate with her own Mom this Mother's Day.)

We love swimming in Oma's pool. I know we'll be there a lot this summer.

And, maybe my swim lessons are starting to pay off...here are my "big arms" while trying to swim to Daddy!

Just having some fun at home. I (Brady) turned 22 months this past week, so Mommy wanted to take a few pictures of me. And, we decided to take some others, too...Enjoy!

Then, just when Mommy had finally gotten me to open my eyes, "Sissy" decided to close hers on the next one...hee hee!

egg hunt at the park

Our playgroup met at Mrs. Brandy's neighborhood park for a fun day. We played on the playground, went on the swings, rode our "bikes" in the parking lot, ate a yummy lunch, and hunted for eggs. What started as a rather chilly morning ended up being a really gorgeous day filled with lots of fun!

Look...an egg!

Here is a smile for Mommy. Thank goodness she took it when she did...right after I found my next egg (for a total of 3 at the time), I tripped on a scooter and fell on the sidewalk. I was fine physically, but I was apparently very distressed by it. So, I thought it would be fun to throw a fit for well over 10 minutes. Mommy disciplined me as I needed, but I kept going. But, I finally got over and enjoyed a yummy lunch...and came home with my 3 eggs. (My sister did pick the other 9 for me, which was really sweet, but Mommy says I won't be able to have those until later...) And, until I fell down, I had a great time hunting for eggs. And, I had such a fun morning before and after that, too! :)

"Sissy" had a blast hunting for eggs...it was a windy day, but she found her 12 very quickly!

What a wonderful time with our very good friends. We are very thankful for our friends!
