For my Opa's (grandfather) birthday, my Daddy & Mommy went with Oma & all my VW uncles & aunts on a cruise. They were gone for a week. Though Daddy & Mommy missed me lots, they had a wonderful time...resting, eating, and fun family time.

Here we all are in Aruba. The guys went golfing while the girls went shopping. It was a really great cruise!

While Daddy & Mommy were away, I had some fun of my own :) Here I am on Valentine's Day wearing the cute outfit from my Uncle Blair & Aunt Blip Blip (Brittany). But, I was also so happy to have them home.

This is my way of "stalling" so that I don't have to go to bed...I crawl in my Daddy & Mommy's bed and pretend to be sleeping...funny thing, it never works! :)

Winter pictures

Hi Everyone! Here I am...ready for my fun "Mother's Morning Out" program. I am ready to play!

And, I just had to show you my new "bling, bling." My Great Aunt "Tookie" and my Great Mamaw (Daddy's side of the family) sent me a box full of goodies. My personal favorites (right now) are the purses and the jewelry. I play with the jewelry ALL the time. I love it...morning, noon, and night. Mommy & Daddy have a tough time prying it from my kung fu grip since I enjoy it so much. But, don't I just look snazzy! :) Thanks, Mamaw & Aunt Tookie!

SNOW & my bathtub crayons!!

When I woke up this morning, do you see what was outside?? I couldn't believe it. I was so excited and I had no idea what it was.!! But, it kept my attention for quite some time. Mommy asked me if I wanted to go outside and touch the snow, but I immediately said, "No"!! I just like to look at it! It is so pretty, even if it is only 1/4 of an inch :) Just enough to cancel school around here!

The snow made me smile so big. I was so happy.
Then, I had to share my "joy" of seeing the snow with my baby doll, Molly. I think that she likes it just as much as I do. I keep looking out the window at it, but I think that it's going to be gone by the morning!!

For Christmas, my Uncle Art & Aunt Kelly gave me these really cool bath tub crayons. I am having so much fun coloring on the walls.
Isn't it lovely?? It sure is lots of fun!

The Little Gym

I get to go to The Little Gym on Wednesday mornings each week for 45 minutes. It is so much fun. I am learning how to do lots of fun things, like playing with this parachute, walking on the balance beam, and singing with bells.

Jumping over this rope took a lot of work this "semester," but I can finally do it...well, I can almost do it!
Next thing you know, I'll be in the Olympics with this kind of skill!
I just finished my "semester" with this class, so I got this ribbon as my reward. I get about 2 weeks off, then I hope to start again.

You're probably thinking, "What kind of class do I go to?" But, it's not what you think. At the end of every class, we get our hands and feet stamped. Well this week, I got to also get my belly stamped, so I am excited and ready! I've been wanting to do this for weeks! It's like my first tatoo...just kidding!

More Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Hi Everyone ~ I got some pictures from my Nana from celebrating Christmas with them, so I thought I'd share those. Plus, we celebrated New Year's together, so I included all the fun we had then. Enjoy!

Here I am with my Daddy & Mommy on Christmas late morning...right after Poppy, Nana, Uncle Blair, and Aunt "Blip Blip" (Brittany) arrived.

And, of course, me with my Poppy & Nana!! (And, yes, I got to wear my Christmas jammies almost all day...so fun!!)
I got some awesome gifts from everyone, but my favorite was probably the diaper bag I got from Uncle Blair and Aunt Blip, Blip. I carried that around all day...filled with all sorts of goodies! It even distracted me from all my other presents...but, it sure was a fun day! What a great Christmas!
Then, it was New Years Eve. I was quietly sleeping in my room when my Daddy & Mommy came to get me up to share in the festivities. Look at me, I was so asleep, but I am sure glad that they woke me...I had so much fun! (And, yes, that is a "Happy New Year" crown that is on my head...just for the picture!)

I am still trying to wake up and get ready for all the noise, but I am so glad that they woke me up...it was so exciting!

Winter & Christmas 2007

It's the most wonderful time of the year. I had the best Christmas, and I hope that yours was just as wonderful.

Here I am...all ready for my first day at "school," which is really a Mother's Morning Out program. I go once a week for a few hours and play with my friends and do a craft. It's a lot of fun. When my Mommy came to get me out of bed that morning, I was already out of bed (Yes, I am starting to climb out of my crib, but just not ready for the big girl bed yet.) Well, I was "coloring" my Mommy a picture on the wall...with very thick vaseline. This was after I had put it all in my hair. It was a mess, and Mommy didn't enjoy the picture I had made for her as much as I thought she would. So, after 2 hair washings, I had to get to school. I kept that "wet look" in my hair for about 6 days...baby oil was the only thing that was able to get it all out, and Daddy & Mommy tried all sorts of things. So, in this picture, my hair is not wet...just coated in some serious vaseline. But, my first day of school was sure fun!

This is what happens when furniture is being delivered, and my Mommy can't come check on me...I crawl out of my bed, put my shoe on, and realize that I am just plain tired, so I go to sleep. When my Mommy came up tot check on me about 20 minutes after putting me down, I was so asleep on the floor...with my shoe on...
Then, it was Christmas time. I celebrated with all my playgroup friends at Mrs. Trisha's house. We had so much fun. I got a tea set and some baby bottles from my playgroup buddy, Tucker, who drew my name. It was great!

I got to celebrate with Mommy and a few of her friends, Miss Joy & Mrs. Jenny, and Mrs. Jenny's baby, Charlie. We also had such a fun time.

Then, on Christmas Eve, Daddy, Mommy, & me went to our church to sing songs and listen to a Christmas story. Afterwards, we had dinner with Uncle Todd & Aunt Helen. Then, when we got home, I got to open my "traditional" one present on Christmas Eve...which was the jammies that I wore on Christmas Day! I loved them!
On Christmas morning, Daddy came to get me out of bed, I walked out of my room and saw what Santa had brought me. I was so very excited!! I LOVED it!! It was my very own rocking horse. I named him Rocket (with Daddy's help), and I got to play with Rocket all day. What a great gift!

Opening my gifts from Daddy & Mommy...I got all sorts of fun stuff...books, puzzles, kitchen stuff, etc... I loved opening all the presents...it was great.

Daddy & Mommy also gave me my first tricycle. I can't wait to be able to ride on this in the spring! It'll be awesome!
Then, we got to open our stockings. That was so fun, especially since I got to eat some of the candy that was in there...and play with the kitchen stuff, toothbrush, and book I got! What a great Christmas morning. That afternoon, my Poppy, Nana, Uncle Blair, and Aunt Brittany came over. The battery was dead in Mommy's camera, so once I get some pictures from Nana from that fun, I'll share them with you. They spoiled me with all sorts of fun stuff...baby doll stuff, books, sleeping bag, etc. But, I loved it! (It sure is nice being the only grandchild this Christmas on the Karaffa side!) :)
A few nights after Christmas, we celebrated with my Opa, Oma, VW uncles, aunts, & cousins. We had a fun night exchanging gifts and playing with all the fun toys. I got some great stuff, like the easel and big pink chair pictured below as well as some candy, baby doll doctor kit, magna doodle, and clothes!
