All About Averie

Hi Everyone ~ It's me, Averie, and I just wanted to share what's been going on with me...

I got my first library card this past week. I had a lot of fun going to the library and picking out books for me to read at home...I sure love to read!

I got to pick out 5 books!

Here I am...having SO much fun!
After picking out my books, Mommy let me play on the computer for a little bit. I loved that too! Check out my smile :)
Of course, if you look carefully, I am not even looking at the screen. I really have no idea what I'm doing, but I am just excited that I get to finally "play" on a computer since I can't do this at home yet! I ws just enjoying the mouse!
Here I am with my Daddy and Brady...He loves hanging out with us after he gets home from work! (Brady, of course, feel right asleep when Daddy was holding him...)
Then, I got to go to Monkey Joe's with a friend of mine. I had the best time. I even got to watch Monkey Joe himself come out and go down the slide. And, I even told him how proud I was of him! :)

All About Brady

It's my turn now to tell about me...I am doing great. I love to eat, sleep, and play. And, I really love it when you talk to me. I am smiling all the time now, especially when you talk to me. My day usually starts at 7:00 with feedings every 3-4 hours...and then after a day of playing, running errands, and naps, I am usually in bed by 10-10:30. And, soon, I'll be 2 months old! Daddy & Mommy can't believe it, but everything is wonderful!

I also learned how to "grab" a toy. Actually, my arms were just moving around and I "grabbed" this toy and just held on...not really sure I knew what I was doing, but it was fun. Once I dropped the toy, I'd swing my arms again and do it again...

Brady's Smile...caught on camera!

Hi Everyone ~ We hope you are all doing well. Here are some pictures of what's been going on for us...we stay busy, and we keep my Daddy & Mommy really busy! But, we're having so much fun! Summer is almost over, and I'll (Averie) will be starting preschool 2 days a week after Labor Day. I have my new backpack & lunch box and I am so excited. I'll miss Mommy & Brady, so I am glad it's only for 2 half days a week. I'll let you know how it goes! I'm sure Mommy will miss me a whole lot...at least she keeps telling me that! :) ENJOY!

Well, Mommy caught my brother's smile on camera...it seemed to take forever, but what she doesn't know is that he smiles at me all the time. If she would get me a real camera, then I could capture it on camera also :)

It took so long that Brady just got tired...he went right to sleep after this picture :)

Fudge Pop Fun

Here I am having my first fudge pop. I didn't realize that I would like it so much. I got it everywhere, but it was so yummy! In this picture, I look like I have a mustache...

...but as you can see, I got it everywhere!! YUMMY!

A Saturday Morning Stroll

My Mommy & Daddy got this double jogging stroller to take Brady & me for some walks and runs through the neighborhood. So, this past Saturday, Mommy took Brady (his first time in a jogging stroller) & me for our first walk. It was so fun. I really liked it...and Brady, well, he liked it too...after Mommy got the buckle out from under his chin!! It was a great walk!

This is what happened as a result of our little walk...Brady fell right asleep. I, of course, being full of energy, was ready to get out and play and soon as we got back. We had a nice little stroll!

Splish, Splash, I was taking a bath...

Hi Everyone ~ We hope you are all doing well. Here are our latest pictures...I (being Averie, that is...) will be sweet and let Brady do the talking...Enjoy!

Daddy was gone on "bath night" so this is what Mommy tried to do...me in the baby tub on the sink and Averie in Daddy & Mommy's tub. We had a fun time!

And, for me...well, I still LOVE bathtime. It's so fun and I am so content.

Here is a partial smile that Mommy caught on camera...Daddy & Mommy did find that I have a dimple when I smile, but you can only see it when I really smile. Hopefully, Mommy will catch it on camera soon! She says it's absolutely adorable! :)


Yes, I am 6 weeks old in this picture, and it looks as if I am almost outgrowing my tub!!

All in a Day's Work...

I am getting to be so alert and, of course, so long! :) Just wanted you to see how long I really am. And, Mrs. Dana, I hope you like the outfit you got me!

Hi Everyone...it's me & my sister again!

We sure do love each other, and Mommy hopes it stays that way! :) Averie loves to help out...and when I am fussy, she is so good at giving me my paci!

I am doing great...and growing fast. I love to eat, play, and sleep...what more could a 6 week old ask for? :)




As much of a smile that Mommy could catch on camera...I smile occasionally, but especially at Daddy. He can always make me smile.
And, my sister...well, she has no problems smiling. She loves to have her picture taken!
