Professional Bowling Practice

My Daddy & Mommy took me bowling for the first time...and I am already a professional! So, I was really just practicing for when I go pro! It was a lot of fun.

Since I get my good bowling genes from my Daddy, he helped me. Plus, he enjoys bowling! (And, Mommy had to take the pictures and she is carrying my baby sibling!!)

My favorite part was watching the ball come up from the machine. I got so excited every time!

I was doing a pretty good job...thank goodness for those bumpers that help the ball stay in the lane!

Introducing...my new cousin!

Hi Everyone...Guess what? My Uncle Blair & Aunt "Blip Blip" (Brittany) had their baby a week ago, and I am SO excited about my very first Karaffa cousin! I went to see McKinly Gibson in the hospital with my Daddy the day McKinly was born, but I was in such awe and wasn't quite ready to hold him! But, Daddy & Mommy went back later than evening and got to hold him. I decided to wait a week before I decided to hold him...

So, here is my Daddy (Uncle Joey to McKinly) holding McKinly!

Then, yesterday, when McKinly was 1 week old, I decided I REALLY wanted to hold him. So, we went to visit Uncle Blair & Aunt Blip Blip, and they let me hold him. I was SO excited! With Daddy's help, I was holding my cousin...how fun!
I even gave him a little kiss...okay lots of kisses. He's so cute! It's so fun to be the big cousin to him :)

Daddy goes to the race, and Mommy & me stay at home. We get to have a "girls night." I got to have my fingernails painted for the first time. I loved it. Surprisingly, I sat very still while Mommy painted. Now, I LOVE them! Isn't it so cute?

Mommy is 34 weeks pregnant and carrying around my baby sibling that is estimated at already weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Looks like my sibling will be a very big baby! We'll find out in less than 5 weeks! I am so excited!

And, look what happens when...

Mommy is getting ready to have her 2nd baby and turn 30 in September...gotta change to the mini...Actually, I love it...we all do! I tell everyone I see about my new car...my family, my neighbors, random people at the grocery store, the waitress at IHOP, etc. :) I have so much more room, and Daddy & Mommy say we'll save more on gas!

Strawberry Pickin'

I got to go to Patterson Farms today with some of my playgroup friends. We picked lots and lots of strawberries, and I had the best time. I think I might have eaten too many strawberries, but it sure was fun!

I loved picking all the strawberries! And, Mommy said I did a great job!
But, I enjoyed eating them more!!!

Every time I put a few strawberries in my basket, I'd take a lot at them, and then I just couldn't resist...I'd keep eating them!

After eating well over 20 strawberries, my Mommy took a picture of me and then took the basket away from me...I had to take some home to Daddy, right? That's what Mommy said! :) Mommy & me...notice Mommy having to hold my hand down away from my mouth...I was constantly eating strawberries :)


And, here I am with my friend, Brock...before both of us got REALLY messy eating all the strawberries. If I were you, I wouldn't plan on going to Patterson's for a few days...give the strawberries some time to grow back from us eating them all!
After we ate our picnic lunch, Mommy bought me some ice cream. It was a really fun day!!

A Wonderful Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy. We had a fun day celebrating her! My Daddy & I went that morning to get Mommy breakfast and pick up her flowers while she slept in and got ready for church. She LOVED that! Then, after church, lunch at one of her favorite restaraunts, & my nap, Daddy & I gave Mommy her cards and the pottery piece I painted for her (with some of Daddy's help). It was a great day, and Mommy felt very loved!

A Morning at Ray's

Here I am at Ray's Splash Planet. Before I got to swim at the indoor water park, I learned about flowers...makes my Opa & Oma so proud! :) We got to plant some seeds and cover them up with dirt. I had a fun time! (Oh, and yes, that is my Mommy in the background...with my baby sibling!)

And, this is my friend, Ella. We usually go to Ray's at the same time, and it's a lot of fun playing with her.

One Cool Chickadee & The Last Day of "School"

I love sunglasses! They are so fun to wear around...inside and outside!

My Mommy says that I am "one cool chickadee," and that makes me laugh! But, I am pretty cute, aren't I? :)
And, here I am talking on the phone...something else I LOVE to do, whether for real or pretend. But, of course, in my world, everything is "for real" and nothing is pretend!
And, here is a picture of me on my last day of "school." I went to a Mother's Morning Out program on Thursdays each week, and I had so much fun. This fall, I start real preschool, and I get to go 2 days a week and be in the same class as my cousin, Stephanie, who I call "LaLeigh." I am so excited about that! We're going to have so much fun together!
I'll miss going and seeing my friends and my teacher, Mrs. Sally. But, it was so much fun!

Oma's Birthday & A day at the Fountain

For my Oma's birthday, we all went to Opa & Oma's house for swimming and pizza. It was so fun. I LOVED being in the swimming pool again. (Of course, it was nice and heated, so it was even better!) Happy Birthday, Oma!!

Oh, and this was probably my first time ever...I was looking at bugs, particularly ladybugs, so does that make it any better since I'm a girl?? :)
That night, I was looking at a magazine with my baby doll, Molly, before bedtime. I am very attached to my 2 baby dolls right now, Molly & Abby. They go with me almost everywhere, & I love them! (Excuse the messy playroom...we cleaned that up after we looked through the magazine!)
Then, today, I got to go the fountains at Birkdale. I went with some of my friends from playgroup, and it was so fun!
Look at me...I'm having a great time! The day was nice and sunny, so I didn't even care that the water was so cold!
But, filling up this bucket kept me entertained for quite some time!
Then, it was time for me to take a break, be the "princess," and let my friend, Brock, fill up my bucket for me. Being one of the only girls in our playgroup sure has its advantages!! :)
I am ready for summer!

My Great Oma

This is my Daddy & Mommy with my Great Oma (great grandmother) in Holland in February 2007. This past Sunday, my Great Oma peacefully went to be with Jesus. She lived 97 wonderful years here on this Earth, and now she is in Heaven.

And, here are 3 generations...my Great Oma, my Oma, & my Mommy.

We'll miss Great Oma, but we know she is in Heaven with Jesus. And, as my cousin Brayden said, "Now Great Oma gets to meet Chloe." (Chloe was my cousin, Brayden's sister, who passed away in May 2006.)
